Look at that Arizona sky, those distant mountains ... this is quiet, peaceful, unhurried country. Breathe the clean, smog-free air, feel the warm sun. Once this was "gold-rush" country! Now the greatest treasure that guests carry away are happy memories of golden Arizona, Wickenburg and the Flying E! Come ... make your own memories with us!

Flying E is the ideal place for your "real" western vacation. It is located 65 miles north west of Phoenix on a mesa at 2400 feet, just 4 miles west of Wickenburg, landmarked by the famous Vulture Peak, home of the historical Vulture Gold Mine. We are in a great location and there are many attractions in the area, but most guests perfer to ride and relax with us.

You'll love our weather ... the climate is warm and dry, averaging in the mid-70's with clean, dust-free air. There is scarcely a day without sunshine and millions of stars light each brisk, invigorating night.

We are relaxed and casual..."jeans" the height of our dress code! Warm jackets for cool nights!...remember your swim suits for the heated pool and hot spa! We have boots and hats to loan....shop in Wickenburg for your western gear!

Guest rooms surround the main lodge where you can enjoy the spacious lounge, join in music, card games or just kick off your boots and relax. Your room will be immaculate, comfortable and delightfully western with all the comforts of home...

Electrically heated and air-conditioned, each room provides the ideal starting place for your daily activities around the ranch, or a quiet retreat for a lazy day and a restful night. All rooms have wet bars, private baths, twin or king-size beds...electric blankets, too!

Flying E Happy Hour

The coffee pot is always on and the cookie jar full! You'll find that waiting for the chow bell is a favorite pastime and little wonder -- fresh air really sharpens the appetite! Meals here are delicious, bountiful and served up "family-style"... they are wonderfully prepared by our ranch cooks. Before dinner adults can join us in the saloon for our BYOB Happy Hour and delicious appetizers.

Flying E is a small, friendly guest/dude/cattle ranch...a last vestige of the "un" commercial. For more then 60 years we have been specializing in real western hospitality for approximately 34 guests. Our dining room is limited exclusively to ranch guests and their invited family and friends, by arrangement.
